Brooklyn Seltzer Boys

I always get asked by customers when I'm out at markets and doing demos if I know of anybody that still delivers the old seltzer bottles in NYC. So yesterday I stopped by Gomberg Seltzer Works to meet with the newest member of the seltzer family, Alex Gomberg. He's the son of Kenny Gomberg and the newest addition to the seltzer family. I wanted to get a little more info about them and see where seltzer delivery stood in NYC.

Research had told me that New York was down to only a few delivery guys and only 1 seltzer bottle filling station but I wanted to see if that had changed any. Come to find out they are bringing it back! I was super excited to find this out. Now I have a place to send people when they inquire about old school seltzer.

Alex has started his own route with a big focus on bars and restaurants. Helet me know that he's started to pick up some great accounts and thinks it could be a great addition to his home delivery service. I got a chance to take a quick tour and meet all of the members of the family involved. Irv, Alex's uncle is a partner as well. Together they make up the Brooklyn Seltzer Boys. If you are looking for seltzer delivery in NYC, these are the guys to go to. Who knows, maybe you could get some syrups delivered with your seltzer!
